About John Luhr at Work
I am a marketer and manager that has been in supervision and management roles since I was 15 years old. I enjoy my work life and developing new plans for companies wanting to grow their business. I’ve done campaigns and advertising in digital and non digital spaces. If you need some help with your marketing requirements, contact me now and I’ll see what I can do.
I am the General Manager Sydney of DigiGround, an innovative marketing & application development agency which is also providing website development services. I oversee a team of exceptionally talented people in their own spaces to create solutions to well worn problems.
Each day we work together to create amazing designs and campaigns for our clients to achieve the results they want and the success they need. I’ve had many jobs over the past 20 years and this is by far my favourite place with my favourite group of people.

I’ve got three awesome kids, 16 (boy), 4 (boy) and 3 (girl), who I cherish and love to spend time with. I spend my time at home doing whatever they want me to while also trying to keep up on my TV shows.
I’ve been married for 7 years but with my wife for more than 11. We’ve got some special wine sitting at home in a cupboard ready for us to open when it peaks on our 10 year anniversary.
I have 3 siblings, one older sister, one older brother and one younger sister. I also have 2 nephews and a niece that are all awesome.
About John Luhr’s Hobbies
I have many hobbies that I love to spend time on, and you can read more about them on the hobbies page of this website, but I’ll speak a bit to them here anyways.
I am an amateur photographer and I love to take landscape photos. I love superheroes, especially Batman, and all other comics as well. I’ve got an extensive comic book collection and I am always on the lookout for more.
I’m highly addicted to television shows, especially ones about superheros or set in post apocalyptic settings. And I love to read books and watch movies that are the same. One of my favourite things is to go to the absolute earliest showing (midnight session if I can) of new comic book movies.
I am an avid fan of MMA and Brazilian Ju Jitsu. Practicing as much as I can at myBJJ.
And finally, I love sports. But most of all, I love Rugby League and the St George Illawarra Dragons!
About John Luhr’s Friends
I’ve got a few friends that I have known since I was a teenager (more than 20 years) that I wish I spent more time with. My friends and family are incredibly important to me and I love to organise huge parties where everyone can come along and give me a chance to see them.
Although some of them are scattered around the country, I try to make sure I am available to see them whenever they are in Sydney.
I also consider everyone I work with to be a great friend and have expanded my group of friends over the past 5 years to include many people that I never knew before that.
